Someone

 
We learn to believe
That we aren’t someone
Unless we are with someone.

We learn to believe
That we are the someone
That others think we are.

We learn to believe
That we must be the someone
That our someone demands.

But we know deep inside
That THAT someone is someone else
That THIS someone is no one.

So who are we?
We learn to believe
That we are nobody.



But there is someone
That is not just WITH us
But WITHIN us.

But there is someone
That KNOWS the someone
We don’t know we are.

But there is someone
That only demands
That we be all we can be.

And we know deep inside
That THAT someone is our own true selves
That THIS someone is the one we were made to be

So who are we?
We have come to understand
That we are a beloved child of our Father.
